It is no secret I love my Hunters. I love rainy days but I particularly enjoy being out and about when it's raining just so I can wear them {total nerd, I know}. Last Sunday was cold and wet here in Austin, but that did not stop us from heading to brunch and run a couple errands.

I bought this burgundy sweater last Thursday and could not wait to wear it on the weekend, it is made with the softest yarn; kind of feels like cashmere but with a MUCH better price point. The color is perfect for the season too! I actually wore it to work on Monday with black silky pants and heels. 

The corduroy skirt I'm wearing is the perfect shade of camel...it goes with everything! I initially got it to wear on Thanksgiving, but it's so cute and comfy it's been on rotation. If only it was long enough to wear to work!

JCrew Boy Shirt in Gingham

 Gingham is such a classic print. I love wearing it during summer in lighter colors like baby blue and blush. I was at JCrew a little while ago and spotted this button down in burgundy and immediately knew I had to have it.

It is perfect with jeans, skirts and even dress pants. I paired it here with my favorite Madewell denim and my trusted green Hunters; the perfect outfit for a rainy day!

The shirt fits true to size despite some of the reviews claiming it ran small. The fabric is very lightweight and hides wrinkles easily; making it the perfect top for travel.
