My darling girl turned two years old on July 27. I cannot believe how fast time is going by; I am so grateful we get to spend all day with her every day. Being her mom as been as wonderful as I imagined and I cannot wait to see her become a big sister when the new baby arrives in November. This was the first time we actually had grandparents join in the celebration {quarantine made it difficult last year} so it was very special to have family this time around.
We did a mermaid theme party, complete with a balloon garland, mermaid cake {my first ever!} and outfit. She loved every minute of it. She ended up on a sugar high by the end of the night. We started off the day with donuts, Peppa Pig balloons and a couple gifts and then took her to Aba {Mediterranean restaurant} for lunch since she loves hummus and veggies. We can back home for nap time and she was ready to party some more by the time she woke up.
We are excited to see what this year has in store for her. Seeing her grow up and develop her own little personality and opinions has been delightful and I cannot imagine all of the 'firsts' we will experience during this coming season.
