Madewell Mom Jeans

Jeans // Top // Coat // Lipstick

Like most of you I imagine, I’ve been so busy running doing holiday prep for our Christmas trip…I wrapped my very last gift last night!. We are heading to Arizona on Friday to spend time with family. It’s so crazy to think we are 11 days away from 2017 being over {and still so much to do!}. That being said, I wanted to do my last outfit post of the year doing an item I observed for most of the year and finally decided to purchase: mom jeans. I have been seeing girls everyone rocking them and thought they looked awesome on them but probably not on me. Boy was I wrong….I LOVE THESE JEANS! They are the Madewell Summer Jean in Fitzgerald wash, I sized down {usually a 27, wearing 26 here} because I don’t have a big booty or hips and I didn’t want the look to be too baggy. I will be the first one to admit they are not the most flattering cut you can own, they are high-waisted which give your butt a big of a long cheek look. This probably has everything to do with the fact that I don’t have a big butt. I have seen them on curvier girls and they look AWESOME. I particularly love wearing them with my top tucked in to show off the high waist. I paired them here with a long sleeve tee from J Crew and my new camel coat from Ann Taylor, keeps me incredibly warm and toasty.

Have a wonderful Wednesday, can’t believe is FIVE DAYS TO CHRISTMAS!

xx, Nicole

  9. Additionally, at this point, they're likely entirely agreeable. For certain individuals looking for pants is a unimaginable assignment. The prospect of going into various stores, taking a stab at 20 sets of pants, and returning home with something that isn't exactly correct, is more than the vast majority need to persevere. That prompts one more few days of the "old loyal" pants. Who cares if your look is somewhat dated ? You're agreeable. silk robes for women
