Gingham Forever

Thursday, March 29, 2018

Spring has sprung and vacations and getaways are right around the corner {can I get an amen!?}. This is one of my favorite seasons to shop because I love all the light fabrics and pretty prints that fill every collection and shop. While looking for easy pieces to wear to an upcoming vacation I came across this romper. Isn’t this adorable? Printed, ruffled and relaxed…definitely calling my name. It was on my radar for a while when Anthropologie finally had a 25% off sale and I snagged it {along with these adorable pants}. Gingham is such a classic print, and although I already own a few pieces in navy and yellow…this color combo was new to me. I love it so much I ended up buying a midi-dress {that I can also wear to the office!} in this very same color. Runs true to size, I ordered the XS and fits me perfectly. The fabric is a bit delicate so I actually ended up ordering a second one since the first one arrived with several pulls. The shoes I’m wearing on this outfit are from last summer, got them in Ibiza, but the pair I linked are very similar and not terribly expensive considering you’ll be wearing them everywhere {promise!}.

Hope you have fun plans for this Easter weekend. My brother and his girlfriend are coming into town so I’m very excited for all the fun activities {and food!} we will be enjoying.

Talk to you soon!

Destroyed Denim Shorts & Eyelet

Friday, May 12, 2017

 Top // Shorts // Sandals // Bag // Necklace

Finally Friday!!! Am I right?! Its going to be a great one in Austin, sunny and 80 degrees. I feel like Barton Springs Pool is calling my name. I love weekends like this because I get to wear cute summer-like outfits every day. No need to worry about rain or cold; which means I'll be wearing my new Madewell cutoff shorts {The Perfect Jean Short in Langdon Wash} for sure. I saw these drop on the Madewell website early in April and I stalked them everyday until they became available in my size, except they run big. Like REALLY big. I had to size down two sizes, I'm normally a 27 and I had to go down to a 25 on these. I think last time I wore 25-sized bottoms was when I was 10 years old haha. They have a high rise which means you can do crop tops like this eyelet beauty. Sandals are from ZARA and I'm loving the silver color even though I'm normally more of a yellow gold girl. Oh! And don't mind my leg bruises, they are from my car accident back in September 2016 and have not gone away {can you believe that?!}. I will finally have them lasered off at the end of the month, can't wait!

Have a great weekend!

Blue Floral Print Dress

Monday, February 27, 2017

Dress // Shoes // Earrings {similar} // Bag {similar}
Floral prints are really showing off this Spring. This dress is yet another great find from ASOS, my favorite part about this one is the length...I can wear it to the office! Because of the light background of the print and the think fabric you do have to wear a slip with this one. Price point is perfect though, less than $50 dollars. I paired it here with my super comfortable Octavia sandals {I can wear these for hours!}. For the weekend I would just toss some sneakers on and my beloved Longchamp backpack.

Last weekend I partnered up with Nataliia Glushko for a small photo session. Nataliia is a new photographer in Austin. She is married with two little ones, Marichka and Damian. She was a lot of fun to work with, very original and creative on her approach. You can find more infomation on Nataliia here.

Happy Monday!

Asos Striped Dress

Monday, February 20, 2017

Dress // Shoes {similar} // Bag {similar} // Earrings // Lipstick

It is no secret that I'm an absolute sucker for stripes {and pom poms}. Any color will do but I am particularly obsessed with the blue/white or yellow/white combos. I spotted this dress on ASOS while I was shopping for work dresses and immediately loved the print and bell sleeve detail. The babydoll style dress is perfect for weekend brunch at a fancy place. I paired them with my trusted criss cross wedges and my bucket bag that has been on constant rotation. I'm obsessed with this little thing! My {favorite!} earrings are the forever best-seller from Bauble Bar. Hope you had a wonderful weekend! I'm off today and have a fund day filled with food movies, shopping, my husband and friends.
Talk to you soon,
xx, Nicole
