Matter Jumpsuit

Monday, October 2, 2017

Let me tell you about Matter...they had me at hello. As a {small} blogger I often get emails from companies and brands wanting to partner up for a post -which is really exciting EVERY TIME-. As cool as it is to potentially get tons of free product I'm always careful to only get involved with projects I actually LOVE. Would I spend my own money to buy this? If the answer is yes then I move forward.

Such is the case of Matter, a lovely clothing brand based out of Singapore that focuses on artisan production of collections that are meant to be classics rather rather than trendy. They are sort of like the Cuyana of clothing {#fewerbetterthings}.

I selected this lovely jumpsuit because:

a) I love jumpsuits
b) The print is BEAUTIFUL
c) Looked very comfortable

It did not disappoint. I wore it the day after I got it in the mail, to my husband's birthday dinner {with gold strappy sandals and my Cult Gaia bag}. Wore it to ran errands the weekend after {with my Birkenstocks} and wore it to date night last night again. It's perfect for travel as an airport outfit because it's loose and comfy. It can be worn every season. I styled it with boots last night and once it gets cooler I'll throw a chunky cardigan over it. I'm obsessed with the carefully placed pleats on the pockets, the button closure and the cool red stitching detail on the pocket. Now this, this and this are also on my wishlist. The quality is SUPERB and fits TTS.

Thank you so much to Matter for sponsoring this post. You can ready more about them here.

Nicole

Spring Wishlist

Friday, February 17, 2017

Happy Friday! Can you believe is already the second half of February; Spring will be here in no time! Here are a few things currently on my radar to welcome the warmer months. The dress is perfect for the office with heels or the weekend with leather sandals. I recently learned this shade of Bobbi Brown lipstick is what Kate Middleton wore on her wedding day, such a perfect everyday color. I need a new tote bag for work and this one by Monserat de Luca it's fun and functional, now I just have to decide between the caramel or bone color. I wear two simple gold bangles from Julie Vos everyday, and I think it's time to add this little pearl cuff. I have two pairs of shoes here because, well...one can never have enough. Boots that go with everything in my closet and mules I would actually wear. The travel wallet is a must-have, I've had my current one since I was in college and it definitely needs to be replaced. Enjoy your weekend!

Silk Red Dress

Monday, February 22, 2016

Another bright dress to kick stat my week. I've owned this dress for a couple years now and it is always in heavy rotation during warm days. I love how light and easy it is, and the length is perfect for the office.

I've worn this before to date night with brown leather booties and a denim jacket. So versatile!

Red Dress // Leather Clutch
This time I pared it with my JCrew Collection Lanie heels and a GAP leather clutch. Similar items linked above.

And of course a red lip to match the dress. Hope you have a wonderful week!

Almost-Spring Wishlist

Friday, February 19, 2016

I'm going crazy over here with all the adorable Spring collections dropped by some of my favorite stores. It's so hard to prioritize on what to get first. I own a super cute chambray dress from Gap that I wear over and over, so right bow I'm looking for a more work-appropriate one. This one from Nordstrom looks so comfortable but maybe it's too short; so this one from JCrew might be the answer.

I don't need another leopard print bag but this one it's so perfect. Then of course I would need cute earrings and bright lipstick to accessorize my dress. I plan on getting these Madewell sandals yet again since I always wear them to death. And this cute little wallet would be perfect for all my small bags. And let's not forget! The next sunglasses on my list.

Happy Friday!

N.
